Ok... Like most other blogs I've seen, this one starts " This is my first attempt... Blah blah blah
You may be wondering how this page got it's name. My wife and I were married in St Marks Wildlife Refuge in Florida's Big Bend Area, the far South Eastern edge of the Mississippi Flyway. We have now "migrated" like so many of the birds we love to the far northern part of the flyway, our lovely state Minnesota.
The purpose of this blog is to post pictures from Sandie and I so our family and friends can view them. We also plan to post our news, ideas, and views. I hope you enjoy this spot and that the content will encourage you to come back often.

Hey we ARE newbies. freshman. first timers, babies, rookies, wet behind the ears, new comers, plebes, pledges...etc
Hey Rig and Sweet Sandy (still can't figure out why you chose him..*hehe*) This is great, thank you for including me. I don't do blogs, but for you guys, anything! ((((HUGSSSSSSSSSS)))
Issy or Sharon BUT there are others *cackle*
HEY ISSY!! Thanks for visiting!!
Nice job, Bob and Sandie. I love seeing your nature photography! I seem to remember a conversation Bob and I had once about Iowans having to love the color brown. We were driving down some Iowa roadway and that's about all we saw--whether it was dark brown dirt, light tan cornstalks, brown trees, etc. Gotta love nature!
P.S. So do you know who "Olive" is?
Caleb, Gabe, and Kylie all need tshirts that say "My Grandparents Are Soooooo Gonna Blog About This."
:) Thanks for taking the time to set this up, can't wait to check in on the pics and such. :)
Olive has to be Lesanne?
Andy..."If I don't behave my Grandparents will just blog about me"
Gray is still biking? Rig, you need a photo here of him and the ice!
Sharon/Issy
Do we HAVE to use the word verification every time? *whining here*
Whiner.... I have removed word verification for now.
Thank you very much. Now I don't have to whine, takes up sooooo much energy!
ExQueen of the Whiners!
That's right, Bob, although I haven't used that nickname since 1976.
olive... 1976??? gee whiz how old are you? *Grin*
Younger than you!
ok now that was just cruel!!
My bad.
Olive... I hope you didn't take that seriously? *grin*
No way! Hard to read intonation in an online conversation, isn't it? So, what're you doing these days? I'm trying not to work while at work.
Not to slip back into old habits, but everyone is younger than Bob, including dirt! *LOL*
OK, reverting to being nice again, the "other" me has to jump out every-so-often! *teehee*
Issy... Older than dirt? You should know you were around when dirt was created.
Bob, not me! *batting eyes & wiping dirt off face*
Handing Breez a moist towelette and a jug of Clorox.
So sorry to have started the age comments, Bob. Keep a stiff upper lip. So here's my recent story: as the mother of a 9-year-old (an older mother at that), Katie looked at me the other day and said "I wish your skin wasn't so droopy." And here I was feeling really good about myself--losing some weight, doing yoga, attempting to "stay young." Reality bites.
OLIVE.... The correct comeback is " I wish you weren't so short" *SMILE*
*tapping foot at Bob* Watch it with those SHORT comments, pal!!!
*working on serious glare*
Follow the yellow brick road.
